Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's National League fixtures, including Rochdale vs. Boston.

In a clash that could impact both the race for promotion and the battle to stay in the National League, Rochdale are set to host Boston United at Crown Oil Arena on Tuesday.

The home side are in seventh place with 56 points following their 1-1 draw with Oldham Athletic on Saturday, while their opponents beat Braintree Town 1-0 on the same date but are second last in 23rd place with 34 points.

We say: Rochdale 2-1 Boston United

With both sides in strong form, Tuesday's clash will likely to be a closely-fought contest and the victor may only win by a one-goal margin.

Considering Rochdale's position in the league, it would not be surprising if they managed to take all three points against Boston United.

Fylde vs. Sutton (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

Fylde's battle to remain in the National League will continue on Tuesday evening, when they welcome Sutton United to Mill Farm.

The home side are currently 22nd in the National League table, level on points with 20th-placed Dagenham & Redbridge, while Sutton occupy 13th, nine points off the playoff positions entering the latter stages of the campaign.

We say: Fylde 1-2 Sutton United

Both sides will enter the match off the back of poor results, and we are expecting a tight match on Tuesday evening - it would not be a shock to see a draw, but we just have a feeling that Sutton will be able to navigate their way to an important three points.

Two teams with plenty to play for in the latter stages of the 2024-25 National League campaign will lock horns on Tuesday evening, with playoff hopefuls Altrincham set to tackle relegation-threatened Wealdstone.

Altrincham are currently eighth in the National League table, one point behind seventh-placed Rochdale, while Wealdstone occupy 21st, level on points with 20th-placed Dagenham & Redbridge.

We say: Altrincham 2-1 Wealdstone

Altrincham's form is disappointing, but the Robins are due a big performance, and we are expecting them to get the job done on Tuesday evening against a Wealdstone outfit that are in danger of dropping out of the National League.

Gateshead vs. Braintree (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

In a match that could have ramifications for both the National League's chase for promotion and relegation battle, Gateshead are set to host Braintree Town at Gateshead International Stadium on Tuesday.

The Tynesiders will be desperate to get back on track after a lengthy winless run, while the Iron have been in strong form over recent weeks but will be looking to return to winning ways after a defeat last time out.

We say: Gateshead 1-2 Braintree Town

Gateshead may be the favourites at first glance given their league position, but their form over recent weeks has been poor and all of the momentum appears to be with Braintree ahead of this clash.

The Tynesiders have also been particularly struggling at home, while the Irons have been strong on the road, so expect the visitors to take all three points on Tuesday.

Halifax vs. Dag & Red (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

Promotion hopefuls Halifax Town will be bidding to continue their strong run of form when they welcome relegation-threatened Dagenham & Redbridge to the Shay in the National League on Tuesday night.

The home side are currently fifth in the National League table, seven points ahead of eighth-placed Altrincham, while Dagenham & Redbridge are 20th, level on points with 21st-placed Wealdstone.

We say: Halifax Town 2-0 Dagenham & Redbridge

Three of the last four matches between these two sides have finished level, and Dagenham & Redbridge certainly have enough quality to secure a positive result on Tuesday night, but we are finding it incredibly difficult to look past a strong Halifax outfit.

Maidenhead vs. Aldershot (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

At risk of relegation from the National League, Maidenhead United are set to host Aldershot Town at York Road on Tuesday.

The Magpies will be hoping to build on their win last time out, while the Shots are looking to make it six wins from eight in midweek.

We say: Maidenhead United 1-2 Aldershot Town

Maidenhead have been in shocking form in recent weeks, but their win last time out and the threat of relegation being so close could cause them to make this match a close-fought contest.

That being said, Aldershot have been impressive lately, and their momentum should see them emerge with all three points against a struggling side on Tuesday.
