Ian Holloway in contention for Queens Park Rangers job?

Queens Park Rangers reportedly hold talks with former boss Ian Holloway regarding a potential return to Loftus Road.

Ian Holloway has reportedly emerged as a target for the vacant managerial position at Queens Park Rangers.

Holloway - who has already enjoyed a 252-game spell with QPR between 2001 and 2006 - has been out of work since leaving Millwall last year but he appears to be in the running to replace Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, who was sacked by the Championship club at the weekend.

According to the London Evening Standard, Holloway has already been interviewed by club officials regarding a return to the Loftus Road dugout but other names are still being considered.

While Holloway is favourite with a number of leading bookmakers, Karl Robinson and Paul Clement are also said to be in the running.

It was reported on Tuesday that Tim Sherwood was also a potential candidate, and while that is said to remain the case, he is not considered to be one of the frontrunners.
