Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba reportedly expects to leave the club should manager Jose Mourinho stay at Old Trafford.

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is reportedly expected to leave the club if manager Jose Mourinho stays at Old Trafford.

Pogba was benched for United's Champions League tie with Sevilla on Wednesday night, only making an appearance after Ander Herrera was forced off with injury.

The decision by Mourinho was the latest in a string of moves that suggest a rift between the two over Pogba's future at the club, after the Frenchman was substituted off the field in previous games, while also backing out with illness ahead of United's FA Cup win over Huddersfield Town.

According to The Sun, agent Mino Raiola has approached Real Madrid over the possibility of a move for Pogba to the Spanish capital. The newspaper adds that Pogba is determined to end the situation with Mourinho, and will leave if the Portuguese manager stays on in Manchester.

Mourinho, who signed a new deal at Old Trafford in January, takes charge of his side in a crunch Premier League clash with Chelsea on Sunday.
