Manchester United 'plan to use Jack Grealish as a right winger'

Manchester United plan to use Jack Grealish as a right-sided attacker if they sign him this summer, according to a report.

Manchester United reportedly plan to use Jack Grealish as a right-sided attacker if they manage to bring the Aston Villa captain to Old Trafford during this summer's transfer window.

The Red Devils continue to be strongly linked with the Englishman, who has scored nine times and contributed eight assists in 31 appearances for Dean Smith's side this season.

According to The Athletic, if the 20-time English champions are successful in completing a deal then they will attempt to convert the attacker into a right winger.

Grealish has largely played off the left for Villa during the 2019-20 campaign but that position is currently filled by Marcus Rashford at Old Trafford, while Anthony Martial has also operated in that area of the field.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has largely struggled to fill the spot on the right this season, though, with Daniel James, who only arrived from Swansea City last summer, the only genuine option.

United also continue to be heavily linked with Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho.
