Inter Milan 'preparing summer move for Paul Pogba'

Inter Milan line up a summer offer for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba, according to a report.

Inter Milan are reportedly lining up a summer offer for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.

The 27-year-old's future remains the subject of much speculation despite the current break in football.

Real Madrid and Juventus continue to be credited with an interest in the France international, who has not played for the Red Devils in 2020 due to a troublesome ankle injury which ultimately required an operation.

Pogba's current deal at Old Trafford will expire at the end of next season, although United do have the option of activating an additional 12 months in order to protect his value.

Madrid and Juve, in addition to Paris Saint-Germain, have long been seen as the favourites for the World Cup winner, but according to Tuttosport, Inter are preparing a summer offer.

The report claims that the Milan giants are hopeful that their strong relationship with the 20-time English champions will stand them in good stead when it comes to a potential deal.

Inter have recently signed both Romelu Lukaku and Ashley Young from United, while they took Alexis Sanchez on loan from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side last summer.

Spanish journalist Guillem Balague recently claimed that the Red Devils could yet convince Pogba to sign a new long-term deal at Old Trafford.
