Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano says that 'many clubs' have already been in contact with Manchester United to discuss a loan deal for Amad Diallo.

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has claimed that 'many clubs' have already been in contact with Manchester United to discuss a January loan deal for Amad Diallo.

The 19-year-old was strongly linked with a loan move away from Old Trafford over the summer, but a thigh injury prevented the attacker from leaving on a short-term basis.

Diallo has only made one appearance for the Red Devils this season, playing 68 minutes of the 1-1 draw with Young Boys in the Champions League last week.

According to Romano, 'many clubs' have been in touch with Man United to register their interest, with Dutch giants Feyenoord among those in contention for his signature.

Diallo scored once in eight appearances for the Red Devils in the second half of the 2020-21 campaign, having officially arrived from Atalanta BC in January.

Man United interim manager Ralf Rangnick suggested that week that players could leave Old Trafford on loan during the January transfer window.
