Liverpool are reportedly looking to tie up a deal for Empoli midfielder Riccardo Saponara in the winter transfer window.
The German wants to put his own stamp on the squad and according to Tuttosport, the Serie A club will sell if they receive an offer of £14.2m for the Italian.
Juventus are also believed to be interested in the 23-year-old and cross-town rivals Everton have been linked with a move for Saponara in the past.
Saponara has made eight appearances for Empoli so far this season, scoring four goals.
