Real Madrid and Barcelona could rival Liverpool for the signature of Fulham youngster Fabio Carvalho, according to a report.

Real Madrid and Barcelona could reportedly rival Liverpool for the signature of Fulham youngster Fabio Carvalho on a free transfer this summer.

The 19-year-old is believed to have agreed a five-year contract with Liverpool on transfer deadline day, but the Reds could not get a deal over the line for the attacker before the closing of the window.

The Merseyside club's head coach Jurgen Klopp has said that his side are still interested in Carvalho, who is unlikely to be signing a new deal at Craven Cottage.

However, according to AS, both Real Madrid and Barcelona are keeping a close eye on the situation, with the La Liga giants both interested in signing the teenager.

Carvalho has been in impressive form for the Cottagers during the 2021-22 campaign, scoring seven goals and registering four assists in 19 appearances in all competitions.

Sevilla, Borussia Dortmund and AC Milan are also believed to be keeping an eye on the developments surrounding the youngster, who was born in Portugal but has represented England at youth level.
