Liverpool are reportedly looking to offload striker Divock Origi and defender Nat Phillips before Tuesday's 11pm deadline.

Liverpool are reportedly looking to offload striker Divock Origi and defender Nat Phillips before Tuesday's 11pm deadline.

Both players are now considered surplus to requirements at Anfield, and any money generated from their potential sales could go towards a late signing this summer or an addition in January.

According to Goal, Origi has attracted interest from Wolverhampton Wanderers, Crystal Palace and several clubs in the Bundesliga, while teams in England, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany are monitoring Phillips.

Liverpool are understood to have received no suitable offers for Origi, and although they would like to cash in on the 26-year-old this summer, they are prepared to keep him on board as back-up, given both Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane are set to depart for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations.

The Reds are also prepared to keep Phillips if they cannot offload him on deadline day, though the 24-year-old will likely be a fringe player under Jurgen Klopp, as Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez, Joel Matip and new recruit Ibrahima Konate are all seemingly ahead of him in the pecking order.

Origi made just nine Premier League appearances for Liverpool last season, while Phillips was a first-team regular in the second half of the 2020-21 campaign, making 17 league appearances in total.
