Oumar Niasse 'unsure' of Everton future

Oumar Niasse admits that he is 'unsure' whether he will still be at Everton beyond the end of this summer's transfer window.

Oumar Niasse has admitted that he is 'unsure' whether he will still be at Everton beyond the end of this summer's transfer window.

Niasse scored eight Premier League goals for the Toffees last season, but is yet to speak to the club's new head coach Marco Silva ahead of the 2018-19 campaign.

The 28-year-old has been linked with a move to Galatasaray in recent weeks, and he has admitted that a return to Turkish football would interest him.

"I can not say anything about my situation in Everton because no message came to me about whether I should go or stay. My contract with the club continues," the Liverpool Echo quotes Niasse as saying.

"But there is nothing wrong with me. I love Turkey. Galatasaray is a big club and will play in the Champions League. They also have a big manager in Fatih Terim. Enough between the clubs. Because it's not a one-sided topic."

Niasse, who still has two years left to run on his Everton contract, previously played under new Toffees boss Silva during a spell on loan at Hull City.
