Celtic are reportedly prepared to reject an approach from AC Milan for striker Odsonne Edouard in the January transfer window.
The 22-year-old remained with the Scottish champions in the summer despite being linked with a move elsewhere, and speculation surrounding Edouard's future has intensified with the transfer market set to reopen next month.
Edouard has supposedly garnered interest from Serie A giants AC Milan and Juventus, with the former planning for the future as Zlatan Ibrahimovic struggles with injury approaching his 40s.
However, the Daily Record reports that Celtic will not allow Edouard to leave in January under any circumstances, and Milan may have to turn their attention to Real Madrid's Luka Jovic or Genoa's Gianluca Scamacca instead.
However, the report adds that Celtic are aware that Edouard's eventual departure is inevitable, and the Bhoys are confident that they can garner a fee in excess of £30m for the France Under-21s international, who has 18 months left to run on his deal.
Edouard scored one and set up the other two in Celtic's 3-0 win over Hamilton Academical at the weekend, with the striker already finding the back of the net 10 times in all competitions this season.
