FC Sochaux 2-1 Stade Brest

Sochaux earn a 2-1 win over Brest courtesy of two last-minute strikes.

Late strikes from Modibo Maiga and Slovan Privat earned FC Sochaux a 2-1 win over Stade Brest at the Stade Bonal.

The visitors went ahead after just three minutes when Bruno Grougi dispatched and inch-perfect free kick into the bottom right corner.

Sochaux bossed the game thereafter but, after Vincent Nogueira, Ryad Boudebouz and Loic Poujol had all spurned good opportunities, it was beginning to look as though Brest were going to record their first win in five games.

However, the equaliser came 13 minutes from time as Maiga cleverly lost his marker and powerfully headed home from Boudebouz's whipped cross.

With momentum behind them, Mehmed Bazdarrevic's men won it five minutes later with another header.

A deep Marvin Martin cross found the unmarked Privat, who nodded back across goal to help his side record back-to-back home wins for the first time this season.
