Pele worried about Brazil attack

Former Brazil international Pele says that he is unconvinced by his nation's attacking options for the World Cup this summer.

Former Brazil international Pele has admitted that he is unconvinced by his country's attacking options for the World Cup this summer.

The five-time World Cup winners have long been regarded as a forward-thinking side, but Luiz Felipe Scolari has selected a fairly defensive squad for the competition.

"This Brazil side is different to every other World Cup," Pele told GQ.

"Two or three months before the World Cup they had their attack settled, and it would be among the best in the world, though they'd always say our defence was poor.

"This year, though, we've got a team that are decent from the midfield back, but we need to sort the attackers. And this is the first time it's happened in the history of Brazil."

Neymar, Fred, Hulk and Jo are the four striking options for Brazil this summer.
