Report: Barcelona want Stephan Lichtsteiner

A report claims that Barcelona could move for Juventus wing-back Stephan Lichtsteiner in the January transfer window.

Barcelona are reportedly considering a January swoop for Juventus wing-back Stephan Lichtsteiner.

Earlier this week, Barcelona boss Luis Enrique revealed that his club would be active in the January transfer window if the right opportunity arrived.

A new right-back is believed to be a priority for the Spanish champions, and the likes of Valencia's Joao Cancelo and Southampton's Cedric Soares have been linked with a move in recent weeks.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Barcelona are now considering a move for Lichtsteiner, who is out of contract next summer and has struggled for football in Turin this season.

The 32-year-old has won five Serie A titles since joining Juventus from Lazio in the summer of 2011.
