Barcelona 'weighing up £22m Raphael Guerreiro move'

Barcelona consider a summer move for Borussia Dortmund defender Raphael Guerreiro, according to a report.

Barcelona are reportedly considering a summer move for Borussia Dortmund defender Raphael Guerreiro.

The 26-year-old joined Dortmund from Lorient in 2016 and has made 111 appearances for the German giants in all competitions, including 29 during the current season.

Guerreiro has a contract with BVB until the summer of 2023, but according to Sport, he could be available for €25m (£22m) during this summer's transfer window.

The report claims that Barca have identified the Portugal international as a potential signing and could attempt to secure a deal ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.

The Spanish champions are thought to be keen to boost their options at left-back next season despite the presence of both Jordi Alba and Junior Firpo at Camp Nou.

Guerreiro has contributed five goals and five assists for Lucien Favre's side this term.
