Arthur's future at Barcelona remains in the air with the club reportedly exploring other options, despite the Brazilian's desire to stay at the club.

Arthur's future at Barcelona is reportedly still up in the air, despite the Brazilian's desire to stay at the club.

The 23-year-old recently released a statement stating that he would like to stay with the Catalan giants for as long as possible.

However, a source within the Spanish champions told AS: "We are not ruling anything out, we'll see what he thinks in the summer."

Barcelona are reportedly eyeing up both Miralem Pjanic and Lautaro Martinez, with Quique Setien's side keen to involve Arthur in future deals.

The midfielder has suffered with both ankle and hip problems this year, restricting him to 16 league appearances this campaign.

The Brazil international has a long-term contract with the club until 2024.
