Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Barcelona could line up against Valencia in La Liga on Sunday.

Barcelona will be looking to reignite their La Liga title challenge when they head to Mestalla on Sunday evening to take on a struggling Valencia side.

Ronald Koeman's team missed the chance to go top of the table on Thursday as they lost 2-1 at home to Granada, and there are expected to be changes to the starting XI for this match.

Ansu Fati and Philippe Coutinho remain unavailable for selection due to long-term knee injuries, while an ankle problem is expected to keep Martin Braithwaite out of action once again.

The Catalan giants are otherwise in good shape, and it should again be a 3-5-2 formation this weekend, with Lionel Messi being joined by Antoine Griezmann in the final third of the field.

There could be a change in the back three, though, with Clement Lenglet replacing Samuel Umtiti, while Sergino Dest might come in for Sergi Roberto in the right-sided wing-back position.

Frenkie de Jong and Sergio Busquets are certain starters in the middle of the park, but Ilaix Moriba is expected to drop out of the midfield to allow Pedri to return to the XI.

Miralem Pjanic was back on the bench against Granada following a recent absence and should again be among the substitutes, with Trincao and Ronald Araujo also options for change.

Barcelona possible starting lineup: Ter Stegen; Mingueza, Pique, Lenglet; Dest, De Jong, Busquets, Pedri, Alba; Griezmann, Messi
