Aston Villa are reportedly open to parting ways with Anwar El Ghazi should they receive a bid of £18m in January.

Aston Villa are reportedly prepared to cash in on Anwar El Ghazi should they receive a bid of £18m in January.

The playmaker has enjoyed a productive spell since arriving in the West Midlands in 2018, contributing 26 goals from 112 appearances in all competitions.

However, the 26-year-old has recently dropped down the pecking order at Villa Park, leading to speculation regarding his long-term future.

According to Football Insider, Villa are prepared to listen to any realistic offers for his signature at the start of 2022.

The report suggests that Roma may reignite their interest in the Dutchman having failed to tempt Villa into a sale during the summer.

El Ghazi has a contract with the Premier League outfit until the end of the 2022-23 campaign.
