Lyon keen on Arsenal's Mathieu Debuchy?

A report in France says that Lyon are looking into the possibility of signing Arsenal's out-of-favour right-back Mathieu Debuchy.

Lyon are reportedly the favourites to sign Arsenal right-back Mathieu Debuchy this summer.

The 30-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan with Bordeaux, having lost his place at the Emirates Stadium to Hector Bellerin.

He is now expected to depart the Gunners on a permanent basis, with Lyon particularly keen, according to France Football.

The report adds that the London club are happy for Debuchy to move on, even though he has another three years left to run on his contract in North London.

The Frenchman joined Arsenal from Newcastle United for around £12m in 2014.
