Liverpool are likely to be interested in Arsenal teenager Bukayo Saka but are not expected to move for him this summer, according to a report.

Liverpool are reportedly likely to be interested in Arsenal teenager Bukayo Saka if it becomes clear that the Englishman will not be signing a new deal at the Emirates Stadium.

The 18-year-old has been in impressive form for the Gunners during the 2019-20 campaign, scoring three times and contributing nine assists in 29 appearances in all competitions.

Saka's current deal with Mikel Arteta's side will expire in June 2021, though, and a recent report claimed that talks over an extension are yet to take place.

According to Sky Sports News, Liverpool are likely to be monitoring the youngster's situation as he fits into the club's 'recruitment model'.

However, the report claims that the Reds are not expected to make an attempt to sign Saka during this summer's transfer window even if he does not sign a new deal with Arteta's team.

The England Under-19 international started the season as a left-sided attacker but has primarily been used as a left-back in recent months.
