Arsenal Women manager Jonas Eidevall and left-back Katie McCabe have won the Women's Super League Manager and Player of the Month awards for October.

The Gunners kept their winning streak going last month with two victories and two clean sheets against Aston Villa and Everton - scoring seven goals to cement their position atop the rankings.

Eidevall's side have established a three-point lead over reigning champions Chelsea at the top of the pile, which has seen the 38-year-old handed the Manager of the Month award for the second time running.

Meanwhile, McCabe ended the month with two goals and one assist to her name from the wins over Villa and Everton, firstly scoring a sensational 40-yard strike at Villa Park to put her side 3-0 up on the day.

During the visit of Everton at Borehamwood, the Republic of Ireland international broke the deadlock with another sublime effort - looping a half-volley over the head of Sandy MacIver from the edge of the box - before her corner found the head of Lotte Wubben-Moy nine minutes later.

Meanwhile, Arsenal have one nominee for the Premier League Player of the Month on the men's side of the game, with goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale up for the award.
