EastEnders star Brian Conley has said that he expects the soap to film multiple possible endings for the death twist due to be broadcast on Christmas Day.
Earlier this year the soap jumped forward for a scene set in The Vic on Christmas Day 2023, with six of Walford's matriarchs gathering around a dead body on the floor.
The identity of the victim remains a secret - as for the nature of how he died - and Conley, who plays Rocky, has revealed that none of the actors knows yet either.
"None of us have got a clue," he told Steph's Packed Lunch. "I believe leading up to Christmas, there might be ten of us laying there so that it will be a big surprise to us as well.
"We're all going to maybe film a moment where we're all laying on the floor and then right up until the last minute they can reveal on Christmas Day who it is."
He added: "You just saw the cufflinks and I think everyone has been looking out for those cufflinks for a while now."
EastEnders continues Mondays to Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One and from 6am on iPlayer. body check tags ::
