Lauren receives a parcel containing a beautiful necklace. When she calls in the cafe, she explains to Max and Shona that it's a present from her rich boyfriend.

After the family learn that Bernie has been sentenced to three months in prison and will have to serve at least half, a furious Gemma concocts a plan and lures Big Garth to Victoria Street. Later, Joseph complains of a headache and Gemma finds some painkillers, just as there's a knock at the door - it's Caitlin, the child protection officer.

After learning about Ryan's new job opportunity, Crystal tells Daniel and Daisy that she is moving to Glasgow and was hoping that Ryan may have come with her.

Asha meets up for a study day with Isla, who decides that they should spend the day getting drunk instead. Later, a tipsy Isla shocks Asha by admitting that she's done with men and is considering going with women instead...

Also: Hope doesn't seem keen when Cassie suggests that they throw her a birthday party.

Wednesday, December 6 (Episodes 11129 and 11130)

Evelyn sees a man called Terry mistreating his dog and has a go at him. Roy arrives to help Evelyn but is terrified when Terry turns on him.

Roy suggests to Stu that he could attempt to build bridges by inviting Dom and Eliza over for Christmas dinner.

Daisy calls round to tell Ryan that Crystal is suspicious that something has gone on between them - but both are unaware that Ryan's video camera is still recording from his job interview practice. Ryan admits to Daisy that he still loves her and their sex was fantastic.

Simon gets home from work and is intrigued by Ryan's camera. Soon, Daniel gets sent a video link by Simon and when he watches it, he's devastated to learn that Ryan and Daisy had sex.

Also: Gemma's worried to hear that Linda's coming to stay, while Asha admits to Nina that Isla has a crush on her.

Daniel tells Simon that he knows Daisy has chosen him so he's decided to forget about her and Ryan, but is left devastated when he learns that Ryan won't be moving away to Glasgow after all. Later, Daniel takes Simon's keys, lets himself into the Street Cars flat and heads into Ryan's bedroom...

Stu suggests to Yasmeen that they should open up Speed Daal on Christmas Day, seeing that Eliza has made other plans.

Tyrone's horrified when Cassie takes Hope out for her birthday instead of making her go to school.
