Lauren takes a phone call and assures the person on the other end of the line that they will have their money later. Furious, Daisy confronts Lauren and tells her that she won't be blackmailed by a worthless brat like her.
Ed spends Michael's grand betting on a horse and is delighted when it wins, hiding the cash in a bag in the hallway. Later, DS Swain asks Michael some more questions about Stephen - but when Michael opens his bag, he's puzzled to find it stuffed with cash. Swain arrests Michael under suspicion of working with Stephen.

A suspicious Ronnie confronts Ed and demands to know the truth about his gambling. Ed admits that he had a win on the horses but promises he's done now. Meanwhile Joel's uneasy when Dee-Dee tells him about her dad's gambling past.
At the Bistro, Daisy's impressed when Ryan calmly explains to a curious customer that his facial scars were the result of an acid attack. Later, Ryan tells Daisy that he couldn't have got through everything without her.

Aadi convinces Courtney to join him at the Freshco recruitment day as with two sets of wages they can afford somewhere better to live. At the last moment though, Courtney pulls out claiming that she's sick.
Daisy's supportive when Daniel tells her that he plans to take Bertie to Sinead's grave as it's been four years since she died. But when Daniel outlines his plans to sell his mum's house and buy Elaine's flat, Daisy's reluctance at the idea leaves him disappointed.
Also: There's champagne all round as Ronnie and Ed convince a potential investor to come on board.
