Christmas Day dawns in Weatherfield and at the Baileys, Ed's feeling guilty as the family open the few presents they have left - and even more so when he unwraps a watch inscribed with the message 'For the World's Best Dad. Our Hero'. Alya calls round and invites them to join her family over at Speed Daal.
Peter gives Carla a bracelet inscribed with 'P loves C', but he's left shocked when she reveals her present for him.
Fearing Paul may have had a fall, Ches and Todd break down his door and get more than they bargained for. Later, back at Ches and Gemma's, they all video call Bernie in prison and sing 'Away in a Manger'.
Tipsy Evelyn and Mary help Roy make the Christmas dinner at the cafe. Evelyn's genuinely touched when she opens her present from Roy.
Tracy's unimpressed to learn that she's cooking for ten people at the Barlows, and when she nips over to the flower shop to get a bottle of wine, she bumps into Tommy Orpington, who is looking for a last-minute gift for his mother.
Elsewhere, the Websters and the Platts take their seats at the Bistro and peruse the menu.

Carla and Peter reflect on their relationship and come to the realisation that even though they love each other, they may be better off apart. Later, Peter leaves the flat with his bags and is touched to see the whole family - apart from Simon - waiting to say goodbye.

At the flat, Carla buzzes in what she thinks is a pizza delivery boy - but it's actually a lad called Bobby, who informs her that he's Rob Donovan's son and she's his auntie. After verifying the story with Rob, she agrees that Bobby can stay with her for a few weeks.
Joel tells Ed that he has a wealthy client who needs a good builder and he's put in a word for him. Meanwhile, Michael's shocked when Sean and Izzy give him a wendy house they bought at a pawn shop as a gift for Glory. Realising it's the same one that was stolen, he informs Craig.
Stu feels awful that Eliza's so upset about her dad not showing up for Christmas and decides to leave Dom a voicemail telling him that he may have made a mistake.
Also: Paul's upset when a man called Moses arrives, explaining that he's standing in for his usual PA, but Paul's mood soon changes when Moses gives him a back massage and solves his pain.

A van pulls up outside Carla's flat and Bobby soon recognises all of his possessions, realising that his mother must have sent them on. Simon offers Bobby his bedroom and tells them that he'll go stay with Leanne and Nick. Later, Carla finds Bobby at the hotel bar chatting up Debbie.
After the truth about Ed's gambling finally comes out, Michael wants him gone from the house, while Dee-Dee's fuming that Joel and Ronnie knew about it.
Jenny tells Daisy that their bid on the Rovers was accepted - and they have permission to reopen on New Year's Eve.
When Moses and Paul return from their shopping trip, Todd clocks them and dashes over to help - and it's soon clear that he's smitten with Moses.
Yasmeen's horrified when Stu comes clean about paying Dom 10 grand to get out of Eliza's life.
