Next week on Coronation Street, Stephen starts to convince people that Elaine may be suffering from depression.
Elsewhere, Ryan takes the plunge and starts back at work, a frustrated Paul commits an act of betrayal and Adam gets jealous over Sarah and Owen.

Paul makes a huge mistake
The chilli-eating competition is a roaring success at the Bistro and Paul is touched when they manage to raise £800.
As Billy and Bernie argue over the merits of religion versus crystals, Paul storms out.
Paul seeks refuge at a hotel bar and bumps into Zac, a blast from the past, and offers to buy him a drink.
Paul wakes up in the hotel room with a huge hangover and suddenly realises that Zac has nicked the £800 charity money. He returns home and initially makes out as if he slept on a friend's sofa but then comes clean and admits to what he did with Zac, leaving Billy appalled.
Ryan takes a knockback
Ryan admits to Carla that he's not sure if he's up to returning to work yet, but he later decides to ask Leanne if he can start back at the Bistro.
At the Bistro, when a customer complains about Ryan's scars, Leanne hits back and defends him as a hero. Unfortunately Ryan hears the end of the conversation and quickly leaves.
Stephen enacts his plan
After Carla demands a meeting with Seagull Ltd, Stephen ropes in ex-wife Gabrielle to pose as a company consultant over Zoom. Gabrielle does an excellent job of convincing Carla, but suddenly Sarah returns to the office to collect her laptop...
Stephen arranges for Elaine and Audrey to meet with a personal shopper to get wedding outfits, but when they return, Tim makes it clear that he doesn't want to go to the wedding. Stephen encourages Elaine to write a letter to her son explaining how much he's hurt her.
Stephen tells Dr Gaddas that he's worried Elaine may be depressed and may end up doing something drastic - and goes on to plant the same seed in Sally's head.
Adam can't contain his green-eyed monster
Adam admits to Daniel that he's struggling to trust Sarah and is suspicious of her spending so much time with Owen.
Adam discovers that Sarah is having lunch with Owen at the Chariot Square Hotel so he decides to head over, spoiling for a fight.

With Yasmeen and Roy getting fully involved with the Rovers quiz, Stu feels excluded and leaves the pub.
As an exhausted Gemma briefly closes her eyes, Bertie goes through her bag and finds her pack of antidepressants. When Daniel and Daisy arrive to collect Bertie, they're horrified to discover that he's eaten the tablets while she's been sleeping on the sofa.
