Murray considering McEnroe as coach

Andy Murray has revealed that he is considering hiring seven-time Grand Slam champion John McEnroe as his new coach.

The American recently admitted that he would be interested in working with the Wimbledon champion, who has been without a coach since <a href="/tennis/news/murray-lendl-end-partnership_145098.html">parting ways</a> with Ivan Lendl in March.

The world number eight told <em>BBC Sport</em>: "Every player would consider someone with his credentials. I like listening to him commentate and he has a lot to offer as well. It's interesting but if anything comes . . .
