Stoke City striker Peter Crouch announces that his wife Abbey Clancy has given birth to the couple's second daughter Liberty Rose.

Peter Crouch's wife Abbey Clancy has given birth to the couple's second daughter.

The Stoke City striker confirmed yesterday on Twitter that he and his Liverpool-born partner, who have been married since 2011, had welcomed their second child Liberty Rose.

The 34-year-old tweeted a photo of Clancy cradling the newborn and added the message: "So pleased to welcome liberty rose to our family mummy and baby doing great xx"

The couple are already parents to four-year-old daughter Sophia Ruby.
