Saturday's Ligue 1 predictions including Dijon vs. Paris Saint-Germain

Sports Mole provides score predictions for both of Saturday's Ligue 1 fixtures - Bordeaux vs. Metz and Dijon vs. Paris Saint-Germain.

A Bordeaux team who were previously expected to challenge for a European place prepare to take on a Metz team who are now realistic contenders for a top-five finish in Ligue 1 on Saturday lunchtime.

Jean-Louis Gasset's side succumbed to a 2-0 defeat to Nimes last time out, while Metz continued their European charge with a 2-1 win at Nice.

We say: Bordeaux 0-1 Metz

Only the top three sides have shipped fewer goals than Metz this term, while Bordeaux are not exactly renowned for a leaky defence despite their truly shocking form. The hosts' already-depleted ranks have been decimated further by recent suspensions and injuries, and the confidence in the Bordeaux camp cannot be high right now, so we expect Metz to record back-to-back wins and finally end their barren run against Les Girondins.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Dijon vs. PSG (Saturday, 4.00pm)

Faltering champions Paris Saint-Germain will be eyeing an immediate return to winning ways in Ligue 1 when they travel to basement side Dijon on Saturday evening.

The hosts are 17 places and 39 points worse off than their opponents, whose title hopes took yet another huge blow with a 2-0 defeat to Monaco last time out.

We say: Dijon 0-5 Paris Saint-Germain

This may very well just be a case of how many PSG can win by, although their staggering goal difference of +40 - the best in the league - hardly needs improving. Dijon do not look like pulling themselves out of their rut anytime soon and have struggled for goals and performances at home all season, so it would take nothing short of a miracle for Linares's men to avoid a thrashing this weekend.

Our tipster partners are predicting a draw.
