The BBC has confirmed the 'Class of 2022' lineup of pupils in the new series of Waterloo Road.
After eight years off the air, the school-based drama is returning for a brand new series later this year with original stars including Angela Griffin, Adam Thomas and Katie Griffiths returning as teachers alongside new cast members including Kym Marsh.
Now the cast of pupils has been announced, most of them newcomers - including Thomas's real-life niece Scarlett Thomas, who will play his character Donte's daughter Izzy Charles.
Also on the cast are Adam Abbou (Time), Priyasasha Kumari (You Don't Know Me), Noah Valentine (The Bay), Adam Ali (Little America), Alicia Forde, Francesco Piacentini-Smith (Masters Of The Air), Liam Scholes (Coronation Street) and Lucy Eleanor Begg.
The junior cast is completed by Summer Violet Bird, Ava Flannery, Thapelo Ray (Doctors), Inathi Rozani (Biff and Chip), Chiamaka ("ChiChi") Ulebor and Sahil Ismailkhil.
Filming on the new series began in Manchester earlier this month.
