Timothee Chalamet has been confirmed as both the host and the music performer for an upcoming episode of Saturday Night Live.
The 29-year-old is generating significant Oscars buzz in the 'Best Actor' category for his portrayal of the legendary musician Bob Dylan in the new biopic A Complete Unknown.
Given that Chalamet sings and plays Dylan's music himself in the movie, fans have speculated that he may appear in character during the musical segments in his episode of SNL.
The actor joins a rare group of people to both host and perform in the same episode of the long-running sketch show, with the likes of Paul Simon, Ray Charles, Sir Elton John and Britney Spears all having taken on double-duty in the past.
The episode - Chalamet's third time hosting SNL - airs January 25 in the US and January 26 on Sky Comedy in the UK and Ireland. body check tags ::
