Fox has renewed four of its top animated comedies for four seasons each in a bumper announcement.
The Simpsons, American Dad!, Family Guy and Bob's Burgers will all remain on air until 2029, the network has confirmed, with 15 episodes a year starting from the 2025-26 TV season.
For The Simpsons that guarantees its longevity until season 40, Bob's Burgers will run to at least season 19 and for Seth MacFarlane's duo Family Guy and American Dad! it keeps them going until seasons 27 and 23 respectively.
Michael Thorn, the president of Fox Television Network, said: "This new deal celebrates the eternal popularity of these iconic comedies, as well as the enduring, prolific relationship we continue to enjoy with our friends at 20th Television Animation and the brilliant creators – that goes double for Seth this time around - and incredible voices behind these contemporary classics."
New episodes of all four shows are available on Disney+ in the UK and Ireland. body check tags ::
