Discussions about a potential second season of hit drama Adolescence are reportedly underway at Netflix.
The four-part miniseries - co-created by Jack Thorne and Stephen Graham - follows the story of a 13-year-old boy, played by Owen Cooper, who is arrested after the murder of a girl at his school.
The show, which was filmed in one continuous take per episode, was released just a month ago but is already fourth place in Netflix's Most Popular English-Language TV rankings with 114.5 million views.
According to Deadline, the unprecedented success of Adolescence has prompted Netflix to begin talks with the makers of the show, Plan B Entertainment - Brad Pitt's production company - about the "next iteration", which would 'stay true to the DNA' of the first season.
Further details about the possible storyline for a second season are unknown, although Thorne and Graham - the latter of whom also starred in the first season - are expected to be involved. body check tags ::
