Channel 4 is in the early stages of making a documentary about the rise and fall of actor Noel Clarke.

Channel 4 is in the early stages of making a documentary about Noel Clarke's public fall from grace last year.

As part of a newspaper investigation the actor, 46, was accused by more than 20 women of misdemeanours including sexual harassment, verbal abuse and bullying - allegations that he has vehemently denied.

Following the claims BAFTA suspended Clarke's membership, while Sky pulled the plug on his hit drama series Bulletproof.

The Channel 4 documentary, tentatively called The Cancelling of Noel Clarke, will feature interviews with multiple participants - including, critically, Clarke himself.

A C4 spokesperson told Variety: "Channel 4 has not commissioned the documentary. It is in the early stages of development and as part of this process, the production company has started approaching a number of potential participants."
