Disney+ has announced details of a new UK action-adventure series based on the classic Jules Verne novel 10,000 Leagues Under The Sea.
Called Nautilus, the 10-part series will follow Captain Nemo, who sets sail with a ragtag crew on his submarine Nautilus and discovers a magical underwater world.
The streaming service has also announced two more UK originals, destined for Star on Disney+ worldwide and Hulu in the US.
Misfits star Nathan Stewart-Jarrett is to headline Culprits, an eight-episode comedy about a gang who pull off a heist but then find themselves picked off for murder one by one.
Wedding Season, meanwhile, stars Rosa Salazar as a woman whom we meet on her wedding day, surrounded by the dead bodies of her groom-to-be and all of his family.
The show, which is described as a "genre-busting" romcom crossed with a crime drama, will run to eight episodes and is being lined up for release in 2022.
The three new commissions take Disney+'s UK originals slate to six shows to date, with other projects in the work including a David Beckham football docuseries and a new fantasy adventure from Sally Wainwright. body check tags ::
