Channel 4 has reportedly given the go-ahead to a second series of the unique reality show The Jury: Murder Trial.
In the programme, a real court case was reconstructed using actors reading the actual trial transcripts in front of two juries composed of members of the public.
Neither jury was aware of the other, however, as the experiment sought to see whether two different groups of people hearing the same evidence would come to the same conclusion.
According to The Sun, the format impressed commissioners at C4 and they have now committed to a new run which is likely to be a terrorism-related trial.
Although the cases in question are real, some names and details are changed in an attempt to protect victim and defendant anonymities.
