Christine Flack will explore the circumstances that led to the tragic death of her daughter Caroline Flack for a new Disney+ documentary.

In February 2020, the much-loved Love Island presenter took her own life at the age of just 40 amid a host of press stories and social media speculation about her private life.

In the one-off piece, provisionally titled Caroline, mother Christine will attempt to understand the events of the final few months of her daughter's life.

The project is being produced by Curious Films, who previously worked with Christine on the 2021 documentary Caroline Flack: Her Life and Death.

"I still have so many questions about what happened to Caroline in her final months, and it's something I feel deeply compelled to explore, even though I know it will be challenging," Christine said in a statement.

"I'm pleased to be working with the team at Curious Films once again, in the hope of bringing clarity and understanding to Carrie's story – not just for her, but for everyone who cared about her."

The programme will be released on Disney+ later this year. body check tags ::
