Roman Kemp is reportedly wanted for the upcoming celebrity edition of The Circle.
The Channel 4 series sees strangers move into separate flats in an apartment block where their only form of communication with each other is through a social media platform called The Circle.
Contestants can choose to play as their genuine selves or invent a new persona - and in the most recent series, TV host Richard Madeley had a guest cameo playing an attractive young woman called Judy.
Earlier this week C4 gave the go-ahead to a third regular series in addition to a week-long celeb version for Stand Up To Cancer, and according to The Sun, radio DJ and former I'm A Celeb star Kemp is their top choice for the latter.
"Roman has proved hugely popular and the team working on The Circle are desperate to get him on board," a source told the newspaper. "The show is a Stand Up To Cancer special and is being filmed in Manchester this year.
"Roman has told his team he is interested in taking part and they are trying to align his schedules. His career has taken off massively after his stint in the jungle and now Roman is really in demand. Along with his radio work, he's got a lot of TV projects on the boil so he is hoping he can clear his diary.
"Filming is planned to take place over a week so it's a fair chunk of time to take out of his busy diary. But Roman has made it clear he'd love to get involved. The Circle allows you to be really creative and Roman has a cheeky, fun side that the production team think could make for really good viewing."
Should the story be true, then doubt will now be cast on whether Kemp can appear on the show - as its premise requires the participants to have no idea whether their fellow contestants are who they say they are.
