The BBC has confirmed that the new series of The Apprentice will air on BBC One early in 2025.
In the new series - the 19th to date - a new crop of 18 candidates will vie for a £250,000 business investment from Lord Alan Sugar, once again assisted by Baroness Karren Brady and Tim Campbell.
This time the candidates will be in mixed teams from the outset, as opposed to the usual "girls versus boys" start, and for their first task they will travel to Austria to sell tour packages in the Alps.
Future tasks will include creating a virtual popstar, turning a ton of potatoes and tomatoes into cash, designing and marketing Easter Eggs, jetting off to Turkey for a corporate hospitality challenge and taking on the always-tough discount-buying task in Stratford-upon-Avon.
Lord Sugar has previously outlined his ambition to make 20 series of the programme before quitting, potentially meaning that the 2025 series could be his penultimate edition before his swansong in 2026. body check tags ::
