We made a pact that afternoon we would agree to do the show only if we could both do it. On screen & off screen we worked together, me forever excitable and Len being cool & casual. The perfect paring. We always kept in touch. My condolences to his beautiful wife Sue and his family. Len thanks for the happy memories."

I can't quite believe he's gone and we'll never have a Ten from Len again."

"Heart broken by the news of our dear friend and mentor Len Goodman. It's a gloomy morning here in Los Angeles which seems fitting after this heart breaking news. But when I think back at the memories we all shared with Len, his sense of humor, his smile and charm everything feels much brighter and full of sunshine. Still hard to fully process but filled with gratitude knowing I had the privilege of working beside this absolute legend. We will miss you dearly Len. We love you. Rest In Peace my friend"
Derek Hough, DWTS judge and ex-dancer

Alfonso Ribeiro, DWTS host

"The day he left Strictly was a sad one for the show and it would never be the same again but his legacy will live on. Barely a week goes by where someone doesn't yell 'Seven' at me in the street. From now that will have a new meaning for me personally and it will definitely be met with a smile as I remember a true gent, a legend and a friend. Len, thank you for the memories, thank you for the guidance, thank you for the warmth you always showed and the moments that we shared. I will treasure them all."
Brendan Cole, former Strictly dancer

"A sad day today at hearing the news of the passing of @lengoodmanmbe. He was one of the nicest, funniest, and kindest people I ever had the absolute pleasure of working with and calling a friend. The world lost a little sparkle today. I will miss his cheeky jokes, his infectious smile, and his forever love and passion of dance. I hope you're smiling and dancing still amongst the clouds. We will miss you"
