Jowita Przystal is reportedly in the frame to step up to the main dance group on the next series of Strictly Come Dancing.
Earlier this week Oti Mabuse announced that she was quitting the BBC dance contest after seven years, having taken up judging roles on ITV shows The Masked Dancer and Dancing On Ice.
Przystal, 27, is a Polish ballroom champion who joined the professional lineup on Strictly last year after winning the BBC show The Greatest Dancer.
The dancer was not given a celebrity partner in her first year on the show, but according to The Sun, Mabuse's departure has provided with her an opportunity for a promotion.
"She is very much seen as a rising star within the show's team of dancers," a source told the newspaper.
"And producers like to continually introduce fresh blood to the Strictly troupe. That was one of the reasons they brought Oti into the show seven years ago when she was relatively unknown."
The new series of Strictly is due to begin on BBC One in September. body check tags ::
