Prince Harry arrived back in the UK for the first time in over a year on Sunday following the death of his grandfather Prince Philip.
Having stepped down as a senior member of the Royal Family, the Duke of Sussex has been living in California with wife Meghan Markle since last March but has returned to his homeland in order to attend the funeral of Philip, who died on Friday at the age of 99.
Harry left Los Angeles on Saturday evening on a commercial British Airways flight, which touched down at Heathrow shortly after 1pm on Sunday.
Under current coronavirus guidelines, he will now need to complete a five-day quarantine and take a COVID test ahead of the funeral on Saturday afternoon.
Harry's return to the UK will also mark the first time that he has seen members of his family - including The Queen, Prince Charles and Prince William - since the broadcast of a tell-all TV interview that he and Markle gave to Oprah Winfrey earlier this year.
Markle, who is pregnant with the couple's second child, will not be at the funeral after being advised by her doctor not to travel. body check tags ::
