Last year's participants of Married At First Sight UK will be reunited for a special update episode, it is revealed.

The new series of Married At First Sight UK will be preceded by a reunion special featuring the cast of last year's show.

The 2021 edition of the unconventional E4 dating show saw eight couples meet for the first time as they walked down the aisle, although only five of them made it to the end of the process.

Twelve months later, a reunion episode called Married At First Sight: One Year On will reveal which of the couples are still together - and married for real - and provide updates on the dating fortunes of those who decided to go their separate ways.

Murray Boland, the show's exec producer, told The Sun: "The hugely loyal viewers of last series' Married at First Sight UK invested so much into the lives of these 16 single people, that it's only right that they get to see how things have evolved over the past 12-months.

"It's certainly going to be a reunion not to miss, One Year On."

The new series of MAFS UK is due to air on E4 and All 4 later this summer. body check tags ::
