Love Island winner Liam Reardon has had to go to hospital after injuring himself while cooking for girlfriend Millie Court.
The 22-year-old posted a graphic picture to social media showing his foot covered in giant blisters, which came about after he accidentally poured hot oil onto himself.
Liam had been attempting to surprise Millie, with whom he won the ITV2 show last summer, with a meal of spicy chicken tenders and dirty fries when the incident occurred.
"Keeping my foot in cold water for 20 minutes made a massive difference to the burn," he told fans.
"Spoke to 111 this morning and they said to go to the hospital. So I got there at 11.30 and it could be another few hours of waiting.
"They're very busy which I understand so I asked the doctor if I could treat it myself as I don't want to waste their time but apparently no."
The couple have appeared to go from strength to strength since Love Island ended and purchased a £1m mansion together in Essex last November. body check tags ::
