Iain Stirling is to take on the voiceover role for the US version of Love Island, it has been announced.
The Scot has been an ever-present as narrator of all eight series to date of the ITV2 reality show, with his wife Laura Whitmore serving as host.
In the US, Matthew Hoffman has voiced the three seasons of Love Island so far, but the show is being given a shakeup for its fourth season by moving to streaming service Peacock.
"The moment the decision was made to bring an all-new version of Love Island to Peacock, we knew we had to get Iain on board," said Jenny Groom, NBCU's evp of unscripted.
"Iain embodies everything fans love about the show - humour, irreverence and cheeky fun. Love Island would not be the same without him."
Stirling looks set to be juggling both the US and UK shows at the same time for several weeks, with the former due to begin on July 19 and the latter expected to continue until August.
