Lucas pleads with Frankie and Dillon to stay away from Rex, telling them that he's reported him to the police - but the pair warn Rex that the police are onto him and he manages to throw them off the scent. At a party, as Frankie and Dillon deal for Rex, Frankie's shocked when Oscar shows up and orders him to go home. Ro spots that Oscar is back in the village and rushes over to apologise, but a frightened Oscar is unable to hear properly and falls over.
Also: Leela's concerns grow for Ste, who is adamant that Jez killed his cat and replaced it with a lookalike.

The miscommunication between Oscar and Ro is made worse when Arlo stirs the pot. Later, Ro admits to Diane that he's worried about being sent to a female young offenders' centre if he is convicted and she promises she will do whatever she can to protect her son.
Also: Martha learns that her dementia hasn't progressed as quickly as they feared, but she goes ahead and gives Jez lasting power of attorney. Ste tells John Paul that Jez is bad news and will provide him with proof, before deciding to search the allotment...

Diane makes a life-changing decision in an attempt to help Ro. Meanwhile Ro seeks advice from Prince on how to survive in prison and he advises him to just keep his head down in prison. Later, Ro walks into court wearing a dress and makeup, not wanting to be seen as different.
Elsewhere, Rex offers Frankie and Dillon new perks to keep them working for him, while Jez is jumpy as the police search the allotment.
