Evelyn's incredulous when Tyrone gives Cassie 80 quid to collect Ruby's new shoes from in town. Later, when she fails to show for the party, they go searching the streets for her and find her slumped on the pavement having clearly overdosed.

Max lies to Lauren, pretending that he's in college all day whereas in reality he's meeting Sabrina at the precinct. Gav urges Max to make his move as a deflated Lauren watches on, and later, she takes her anger out on the salon and trashes the place.

Also: Bernie offers to help with Gemma and Chesney's bills, while Ronnie gives Ed a bank card for their business account.

This hour-long episode airs at 8pm on ITV1 and ITVX
