As Amy and Moira get into the festive spirit, they lose sight of Kyle - and they're horrified to see him talking to PC Swirling. They manage to intervene before Kyle says anything but Swirling grows suspicious of their odd behaviour.

Mick goes out on his stag do - and when Callum tries to talk to him about his lingering feelings for Linda, Mick's insistent that Janine is the woman for him. Meanwhile, Shirley continues to keep a close eye on Janine and when she slips out, Shirley follows her - only to see her meeting a man in a bar. What is Janine up to?

Helping Janine with her dress, Sonia tells her that she doesn't have to go through with the wedding because she's pregnant but Janine replies that nothing will stop her from becoming Mrs Carter.

Phil's back and Billy confronts him about not being there for him in the last few weeks. Phil's horrified to learn about Lola's diagnosis, but how will Billy react when he discovers that Phil was the one who grassed him up?

Lola and Lexi plait each other's hair but they're both devastated when some of Lola's hair comes out in Lexi's hand.
