Sissal has won Denmark's Melodi Grand Prix for 2025 and will now go on to represent her country at the Eurovision Song Contest in Basel.
The 30-year-old, who hails from the Faroe Islands, reached the final three of the contest with her self-penned song 'Hallucination'.
The final decision came down to a televote and jury vote, in which she scored a combined percentage of 38% - a whisker in front of second-place act Tim Schou, who managed 37%.
"Of course, you can never be sure, but I seriously want to do my very best. I will work hard, as I always do," she said afterwards.
"I am dedicated to what I love. I want to make Denmark proud, and then you can't do more. I feel like this song is so good. We have loved it from day one."
