Manpreet advises Bob that Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder could be causing Cathy's suffering and it could be a problem for decades to come. Bob asks Manpreet to keep a lid on the development for now but Cathy walks in and angrily reveals that she's heard everything.

Marlon scraps his birthday plans amid his fallout with Paddy. Mary's delighted when Rhona tells her that she's still happy to meet Faye, the woman she's been seeing. Later, after a word from Mandy, Paddy decides to visit Marlon and the best friends make up.

Alex takes interest when he overhears Manpreet's phone call about the drugs delivery to the surgery and soon makes a call of his own...

Tuesday, March 21 (Episode 9631)

Having told Rhona that he's ready to go back to work, Paddy has a civilised chat with Chas about telling Eve that he's moving out.

Chloe and Sarah arrive back in the village - and Mack's relieved to hear that it's only a temporary stay as Chloe has a medical appointment. Moira clocks their exchange.

Naomi's in disbelief when Belle and Chas inform her that they saw Alex handing cash to a mystery woman. Naomi confronts him about the fake job interview was supposed to be at - and he soon delivers a seemingly-innocent explanation, introducing her to Clare and her son Max. Alex explains that he met Max's dad in prison and since his release he's been helping them out financially. Naomi falls for his explanation but later, it's revealed that his relationship with Naomi is a sham and he's just using her to orchestrate a robbery of the surgery.

Moira reveals the theme for the combined Stag and Hen do - a Yorkshire vs. Scotland Highland Games. When Charity inadvertently injures Chloe celebrating a ferret race, Mack immediately rushes to her aid but plays it cool as Amy takes her to the hospital to get checked out. Later, after constant needling from Moira, Mack admits to Charity that Moira's convinced he wants to be a dad. He tells her there's nothing in it but Charity bolts off.
